Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIANNE EILEEN NEUDORF
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our mom, grandma, sister and wife.
Marianne Eileen Neudorf was born on October 13, 1948 in Niagara on the Lake to Henry and Lena Schmidt. She was older sister to Beverley, Richard (Rick), Gordon, Robert (Bob), Gary, and Cynthia (Cindy), and grew up in Fort Rouge where she practiced speed skating, played accordion, and hung out with her many friends.
On July 22, 1967 she married Harold Neudorf, and they went on to have a life together for almost 60 years. In the early years of their marriage, they welcomed four children: Darren (Janna), Chris (Regan), Trevor (Trish), and Shannon (Grant). She was a devoted Mom, who not only stayed home to take care of these four tornados, but also attended every baseball and hockey game, bowling match and gymnastics competition. During this time, she and Harold enjoyed many trips both with the kids, and their many friends; cross Canada road trips, Hawaii, camping, and cruises to name a few.
She was an avid gardener, who supplied everyone with her cucumbers and tomatoes. Her flower garden and koi pond should have been in a gardening magazine. She also loved the many dogs they had over the years, and thoroughly enjoyed her granddogs, who couldn’t wait to see her when she came over. She took care of everyone around her from the time she was a young girl, to the day she passed. She was incredibly selfless.
Then came the highlight of her life: Marianne became a grandma. That twinkle in her eye became the light of her life. She and Harold welcomed nine grandchildren in five years, Brennan (Cailin), Nicole (Christian), Hanah (Marcel), Coral (Tristan), Jarret (Hannah), Bradley (Crystal), Zachary (Brenda), Ryan (Camille), and Justin (Anjanelle). Her favourite thing in the world was to spend time with her grandchildren, and she diligently went to all of the volleyball, baseball and hockey games, dance recitals, school concerts, and musicals, and enjoyed every minute of it.
Over the past few years, she faced many health obstacles head on and was a true medical miracle. She fought a fight that few of us could ever replicate. Her fight ended peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2026 surrounded by her children and grandchildren, and of course her husband Harold. She will be deeply missed by her family, and her many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer you make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the staff at the ER and GH7 at Health Sciences Centre who looked after our mom with compassion and care.
A small private gathering will be held later on.

Dear Uncle Harold and family, Our deepest condolences on the loss of Aunt Marianne (heh, she'd correct me here, Marianne, not Aunt). Having so recently lost my own mom, I understand all too well the pain you're feeling right now. There are no words that can ease a loss like this. What I can say is that you've lost a truly wonderful woman. Marianne was strong and the heart of your family, and she will be deeply missed. I keep thinking of how much she cared about making sure everyone had a good time at the family BBQs and backyard parties at your place - she always wanted everyone to feel welcome and happy. I'm at a loss for words beyond this, the world is a little dimmer without her in it. With love and sympathy, Andrew and Shanna Funk - Posted by: Andrew Funk (Great Nephew) on: Jun 28, 2026

To Harold, and the entire Neudorf Family. I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Neudorf's passing. I worked with Harold at Holiday Chev Olds in the early to mid 80's. I have fond memories of those days and having worked for Harold. Although I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Marianne or your family well, I couldn't help but feel for Harold. Having been together for almost 60 years says a lot. I'm happy you have such a big family for support to get you through this difficult time. Again so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Michael Hinson (Worked with Harold, 1984-1987) on: Jun 28, 2026
